Quadruple (duple!) Your Pinterest Viewers!

IMG-0944.PNG

Pinterest was DEAD TO ME like 2 months ago. I mean, don't get me wrong, I would occasionally hop on to pin a plant or a sexy looking popsicle, but for the most part, I never considered it a part of my business strategy. If you're a small business owner, then it's very likely that you're in the same boat.

Welp... let me tell you a thing. Six weeks ago I jumped on Pinterest to clean my sh*t up and I KID YOU NOT: My audience jumped! When I checked back in 6 weeks later (admittedly too long to wait), I had over 40,000 views! I went from literally zero, zilch, nothing... to 40,000 in 6 weeks.

Here's how to get started:

+ Make sure your Pinterest page is a business page

+ Get rid of any boards and pins that you're not obsessed with

+ Change your profile pic to the best picture ever of YOU

+ Create a board that is the title of your business and make that board your "cover" so its' the one that shows up at the top of the page when people visit

+ Update your bio so it's short, sweet, and tells everyone exactly what you're up to in life and biz

+ Add your website for easy clicking

+ Upload pictures and quotes to your business board that are YOURS (images of you, your product, photos YOU have taken or purchased, quotes you made in Over or Canva, etc.)

+ Pop in once a week for an hour and upload more of YOUR content to your business board so there's always fresh stuff on there that shows what you're up to

+ Put every blog post, quote, new product, photoshoot... WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN YOUR BUSINESS... onto your page and add your website to the pin

+ Make sure your website is pin'able' (make sure all of those little "pinterest logos" are on each and every image that gets posted on your site)

Mix vigorously. Wait a few weeks. Check back in. VOILA! Increased traffic and website clicks!!! You've probably heard various business gurus (like Jenna Kutcher) talk about how Pinterest is her number one referral site for new business and thought to yourself (like I did), "How can that possibly be true?" I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm new to this whole world, but based on the results I've received from this recent experiment... I'm HOOKED!

So get on that platform ASAP and pin, pin, pin!
